Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking a Luna & Leaf Baby Massage course, class or event.

By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions, including the Cancellation & Refund Policy below.

1. Booking & Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place unless otherwise stated.

Your booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully received and you have received confirmation from Luna & Leaf Baby Massage.

Places are limited and are allocated on a first-paid, first-confirmed basis.

The price shown at the time of booking is the price payable. Any introductory, waitlist or promotional offer applies only where stated and cannot normally be applied retrospectively.

2. Course Suitability

Baby Massage courses are suitable for babies from approximately 6 weeks old to pre-crawling, unless a different age range is stated for a particular class or event.

Please provide accurate information about any medical conditions, allergies, skin sensitivities, eczema, food intolerances, premature birth or other relevant concerns when booking.

If you are unsure whether baby massage is suitable for your baby, please seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional before attending.

Baby Massage classes are provided for education, relaxation and wellbeing and are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

3. Baby-Led Classes & Parent Responsibility

All Luna & Leaf Baby Massage sessions are baby-led.

Crying, feeding, sleeping, cuddling, changing nappies and taking breaks are completely welcome. There is no expectation for your baby to complete the full massage routine during every class.

The parent or carer remains responsible for the care, supervision and safety of their baby throughout the session.

4. Illness

Please do not attend if you or your baby are unwell with a potentially contagious illness, including vomiting, diarrhoea, fever or another illness that may put other families at risk.

If you are unsure whether you should attend, please contact Luna & Leaf before the class where possible.

We would always rather you and your baby stay home and recover than feel under pressure to attend.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that life with a baby can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel your course place, please contact Luna & Leaf as soon as possible.

14 days or more before the course begins

If you cancel 14 days or more before the course start date, you will receive a full refund.

7–13 days before the course begins

If you cancel between 7 and 13 days before the course start date, a 50% refund will normally be provided.

If we are able to successfully fill your place, we will consider any additional amount that can reasonably be refunded, less any unavoidable payment-processing or administrative costs.

Less than 7 days before the course begins

If you cancel less than 7 days before the course start date, no automatic refund will normally be provided due to the limited time available to fill your place.

However, if we are able to successfully fill your cancelled place, we will refund the amount that can reasonably be recovered, less any unavoidable payment-processing or administrative costs.

Any amount retained following a cancellation will take into account the reasonable loss caused to Luna & Leaf as a result of the cancellation.

Once the course has started

Courses are booked as a complete block rather than as individual sessions. Refunds are therefore not normally provided once the course has started or for individual sessions that you are unable to attend.

We understand that exceptional circumstances can arise, particularly with babies and young families. Serious illness, hospitalisation, bereavement or other significant circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Depending on the circumstances and availability, Luna & Leaf may be able to offer a transfer, credit towards a future course or another reasonable solution.

Nothing in this Cancellation & Refund Policy affects your statutory consumer rights.

6. Missed Classes

If you are unable to attend an individual session, please let Luna & Leaf know as soon as possible.

No refund will normally be provided for an individual missed session.

Where available, relevant course guidance or resources may be provided to help you practise the techniques covered during the session you missed.

If illness or another exceptional circumstance means you are likely to miss a significant part of the course, please contact Luna & Leaf to discuss what options may be available.

7. Transferring Your Booking

If you are unable to attend the course before it begins, you may ask to transfer your place to another suitable parent/carer and baby.

Please contact Luna & Leaf before transferring a booking. The new attendee must provide the required booking, health and emergency contact information and agree to these Terms & Conditions before attending.

Transfers after a course has started will be considered individually.

8. Cancellation or Changes by Luna & Leaf

Occasionally Luna & Leaf may need to cancel, postpone or change a class because of circumstances such as:

Instructor illness

Venue problems or unavailability

Severe weather

Health and safety concerns

Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

We will provide as much notice as reasonably possible.

If Luna & Leaf cancels an individual class, we will normally arrange a replacement session. If a replacement cannot reasonably be provided, an appropriate refund for the cancelled session will be offered.

If Luna & Leaf cancels an entire course before it begins, payments for that course will be refunded.

Reasonable changes to a venue, timetable or other arrangements may occasionally be necessary. Families will be informed as soon as reasonably possible.

9. Massage Oil & Skin Sensitivities

Massage oil may be provided for use during Luna & Leaf Baby Massage classes.

Parents will be given guidance about its use and may choose not to use the supplied oil.

Please tell Luna & Leaf about any known allergies, eczema, skin sensitivities or other concerns before using massage oil on your baby.

If any irritation or reaction occurs, stop using the product.

10. Photography & Video

Photography or video may occasionally take place during Luna & Leaf sessions.

Consent for marketing photography is entirely optional.

Separate consent will be requested where photographs or videos may be used by Luna & Leaf for its website, social media or other marketing.

Choosing not to consent will not affect your ability to attend or participate in the class.

Where a professional photography opportunity forms part of a course or event, further information will be provided separately.

11. Optional WhatsApp Groups

Some courses may include the option to join a private WhatsApp group for participating parents.

Joining is entirely optional and is not required to attend the course.

Please be aware that your name and telephone number may be visible to other members of a WhatsApp group.

Participants must respect the privacy of other families and must not share another person's photographs, messages or personal information outside the group without permission.

12. Refreshments & Allergies

Complimentary refreshments may be provided during some Luna & Leaf sessions.

Please inform Luna & Leaf of any relevant food allergies or intolerances and ask if you need information about ingredients or allergens before consuming refreshments.

13. Course Materials

Any handouts, videos, guides or other course resources provided by Luna & Leaf are supplied for the personal use of participating families.

They must not be reproduced, sold, published or distributed to others without prior permission from Luna & Leaf Baby Massage.

14. Personal Information & Privacy

Information provided when booking will be used to administer your booking, communicate with you about your course and provide the service safely.

Health information will be handled with appropriate care and confidentiality.

Marketing communications will be handled separately from essential communications relating to your booking.

15. Behaviour & Safety

Luna & Leaf aims to provide a calm, welcoming and safe environment for all families.

The instructor may ask a participant to pause an activity or, where reasonably necessary, leave a session if there is a genuine health, safety or safeguarding concern.

Any decision will be made reasonably and with the wellbeing of babies, parents and other participants in mind.

16. Refund Processing

Where a refund is due, Luna & Leaf will aim to process it within 10 working days.

Refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method.

Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the refunded amount in your account.

18. Your Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Luna & Leaf may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
